"Wait It Out"
...is a heartfelt reflection on the disequilibrium of disrupted relationships. The arrangement and melody are like sonic teleportation back to the late '70s.

"Stricken"
...explores the fraught connection between mind and body, with a vibe that blends the 70s and 90s, leaving plenty of space for intricate vocal arrangements.

"Driving Through the Solstice"
...finds the protagonist struggling with the risks of big decisions. Atop a dreamy Laurel Canyon arrangement floats a lush father/daughter vocal duet, punctuated by a trippy detour (like all good road trips).

"A Minor Miracle"
...sounds as if Chris Squire from Yes wrote a song with Ric Ocasek from The Cars in the late '70s, which was covered by Beck 20 years later. Even if that doesn't make sense, hopefully the song will: frustrated irreverence is channeled toward grateful optimism, set to a composition that unfolds in surprising ways.
